well, I've got a 60 page dissection of the movie floating around here somewhere. It's not arbitrary, at least :)

I’m still confused.

Is it post riot act or pre riot act?

The Star Wars version of thread is a clusterfuck

PRAMG is Post Riot Act Money Grab. Starting around the greatest hits album leading into S/T and onwards.

The thread I cannot referring to has people including all starwts films. My head hurts thinking about it. I don’t understand the premise.

Now I can’t find it and am wondering if I imagined the whole thing. It was a lengthy thread about PRAMG but in Star Wars. But people were putting the OT in. And they’re clearly not post riot act.

I'm still shocked that Stip has R1 so low in his ranking. Otherwise, I'm fine with it.

Also, having reattached all three prequel films recently, I've come to the conclusion that TPM is the best of them and RotS is the worst.

The Phantom Menace is actually pretty decent in establishing the prequels. A pretty simple story that does a lot.

The pod-race is over long and Anakin's accidental savior stuff at the end "Try spinning, that's a good trick!" is laughable. But otherwise, the movie is pretty solid.

Are there really that many Star Trek movies?

Wow. Some of them are great fun. Some are abysmally bad.

Oh yeah. Some of them are absolute stinkers. But I have fun with all of them, even the poopy ones.
