Jerry Pharrell?
Oh, shit Perry. HE'S FUCKING 58. WTF.

you think he looks older or younger?
your answer will affect my answer....

it's either 1) good plastic surgery, or 2) bad plastic surgery
Younger.

Ed had plastic surgery? In that case option # 2.
no, Perry did. i mean, i don't know if that's true, it just looks like it.

Go another copy of that image? It's showing as 'forbidden' for me.

Both are working now. Weird.
His face is obviously crazy, but look at that skeleton hand.

Has this been posted yet? I forgot Ed could once sing very well. And Jack Irons is great. This is amazing.

I actually prefer his voice in later tours 98-05, but the band sounds great here.

95 was the last year he had the power in the upper-register.

Yeah, but he still kind of sounded like a caricature of himself.

Interesting... well, i always considered the 90-92 Ed singing to be a caricature of how he sounded on TEN. Almost straining to hit those low registers live. Always sounded unnatural to me.

They are actually worse than I remember. Back in 98 I thought My Own Prison had some ok songs, with Mark Tremonti being a decent guitar player. Then Human Clay came, and it was pure garbage, and I hadn't heard the band since. So for the enjoyment of this thread I gave My Own Prison a few minutes on YouTube, and some of the lyrics are cringeworthy.

Lucky you. Like Anders, I remember enjoying Creed when they first came around, but listening back now it's just terrible.

It's like grunge-lite. Grunge with all the edges sanded smooth.

Jesus fucking Christ.

That picture of Perry Farrell is disturbing.

Just looked up more recent pics of him. That's a lot of plastic surgery.

You can clearly hear him say C-R-E-E-D at the end, but I can't make out the ad lib. He skipped over a large portion of the lyrics. But that's just about all I can tell. Any idea what he's saying?

"'Cause I know then I don't
there's a stowaway with my throat
it's deceiving, his band's called Creed
we can... lalala...
dadada dadada dada
la la la la... LA LA LA LA LA!!!!"
