Has this been posted yet? I forgot Ed could once sing very well. And Jack Irons is great. This is amazing.
I actually prefer his voice in later tours 98-05, but the band sounds great here.
95 was the last year he had the power in the upper-register.
Yeah, but he still kind of sounded like a caricature of himself.
Interesting... well, i always considered the 90-92 Ed singing to be a caricature of how he sounded on TEN. Almost straining to hit those low registers live. Always sounded unnatural to me.
They are actually worse than I remember. Back in 98 I thought My Own Prison had some ok songs, with Mark Tremonti being a decent guitar player. Then Human Clay came, and it was pure garbage, and I hadn't heard the band since. So for the enjoyment of this thread I gave My Own Prison a few minutes on YouTube, and some of the lyrics are cringeworthy.

You can clearly hear him say C-R-E-E-D at the end, but I can't make out the ad lib. He skipped over a large portion of the lyrics. But that's just about all I can tell. Any idea what he's saying?
