I wonder if the helicopter has to do with the current group they just introduced in the comics.

Re: TV: The Walking Dead
Man. This show would be much better if i could netflix binge it. They should move to that schedule. This show shouldn't drag on for 7 months like it does. There just isn't enough happening or much progress to justify this.
Of course, here I am watching weekly. Thats on me. Maybe I should just wait till the season is done so i can roll right through the episodes and feel like something is happening. While i thought that was a good episode, i couldnt tell you what really happened in the past 4 episodes. Nothing of any importance.
Im a fan of the show and have defended it but now i see how ridiculous it is dragging this shit on.

This whole season is only taking place over a few days. 16 episodes is too many for such a short timespan.Strat wrote:Im a fan of the show and have defended it but now i see how ridiculous it is dragging this shit on.

Re: TV: The Walking Dead
What a depressing show. My god.
Of course whats his face escaped back to the sanctuary . No shocker there.
of Course Negan found out about Dwight helping out, because, why would anything good happen to Rick and Co.
Ugh.
Also, did we need to spend that much time with whats his nuts (forgot his name) wandering around the woods? It took 15 minutes for anything pertinent to happen (kidnapping scientist guy), and that was all for nothing because of course he escaped.
God, I just want this to wrap up but im going to watch because I get off on annoying myself.
Take out all the bullshit (like 30 minutes worth) and there's a good episode in there.

I'm guessing that Aaron and Oceanside will arrive to save the day in the finale'. It will be terrible. I liked that episode, though.

I was fussy last night. Lol.
There were some good things that happened but I guess I have finally become frustrated with the show that I have little patience.
I sure hope it’s a satisfying season wrap up.

This stretch was frustrating. No doubt. It was the best arc in the comic. I really hope that the shows veers away from the comic entirely. They try to alter it too much and their alterations are usually for the worse.
I'm excited that Fear returns. Fear is less sluggish, artsy, and frustrating.

I am not sure it gets much more brutal than snuffing someone out with your bare hands.MattA75 wrote:Simon's death was extremely UNsatisfying

I wanted the satisfaction of Lucille beating him to a pulp...the fight scene between him and Negan just sort of felt anticlimactic to meStrat wrote:I am not sure it gets much more brutal than snuffing someone out with your bare hands.MattA75 wrote:Simon's death was extremely UNsatisfying
though Walker Simon on the fence, with mustache intact, almost made up for it

Yeah, the fight needed something more. They got winded pretty quick.MattA75 wrote:Simon's death was extremely UNsatisfying
And yes, Aaron in the woods went too long.
The story does wrap up next week according to Kirkman. Probably with Rick pointing a gun a Negans temple then thinking of Carl and jailing him instead of killing him.
Hopefully Dwight makes it out alive.

I agree the Simon storyline wrapped unclimatically but I did chuckle when I saw him on the fence.MattA75 wrote: though Walker Simon on the fence, with mustache intact, almost made up for it
Negan is getting to Fonzie zone with that jacket on all the time.

What was Aaron's plan? Stumble around in the woods dying of thirst? And why would Oceanside be more receptive to his message all of a sudden just because he was winded and thirsty? He didn't say anything that he hadn't said before

Jailing Negan and moving towards peace is just not going to happen with this show. Sure, they might jail Negan but more shit will just happen. On and on we will go. They aren't going to cancel this show anytime soon, right?

I don't know...I feel like there is definitely a growing discontent with the show, and if they fuck up the finale, I think you could see a mass exodus reflected in the Fall Premier's ratingStrat wrote:Jailing Negan and moving towards peace is just not going to happen with this show. this whole season has made me shake my head in disgust so many times...I'm not even all that aware of what happens in the comic, I'm strictly invested in the TV version, and at this point, I feel like I'm watching more to make fun of it when it's over than I am for actual entertainment value
