The whole AI/consciousness/existence angle is the least interesting direction they could have possibly gone in for me. And my god TV shows are so needlessly long. SO. MUCH. FILLER! And boringly directed. And annoyingly talky. This whole show felt like it was made by a high schooler.

Cannot fucking wait for Season 2. This show is spectacular, and that was only reinforced upon rewatching the first season.

Yes, I enjoy the show. I mean, there were a couple times when I had to ask myself, "Are you sure you really enjoy this? Because LoathedVermin72 from the Pearl Jam forums thinks it sucks."

Chill, bro. It’s just....I’m surprised anyone would think “fucking spectacular” would apply to this show

They’re both bad. Most TV is bad.

I'm surprised that you're surprised that people find artistic endeavors to be rather subjective and therefore have varying opinions about any given piece of music, television, film, etc. I think the key here, and what I've found seems to work best in fostering healthy relationships with others, is to not appear to be a judgmental douche because someone enjoys something you don't. :peace:

What's healthy? I'd like to foster relationships that are good enough to grab a beer before a show.

Well, I don't plan on going to a Pearl Jam show for the rest of my life unless they change their rockin ways significantly. You're welcome to come out to my lake house in MO, though, Lenny. But you have to bring a boat.
