Just finished Transformers: The Last Knight. (I have a 12-year-old, that's why.)

Holy fuck. If this is what the editors brought together, I wonder at what kind of shit pile they were given to begin with.

Transformers: The Last Knight has some of the best editing in cinema history.

I've been on a movie run lately: Three Billboards, Coco, An Inconvenient Sequel, Lady Bird, Call Me By Your Name, Shape of Water, The Disaster Artist.

Well it was mostly boring and really self indulgent.

The Big Gundown is a spaghetti western by that genre's third most famous Sergio (Sollima, after Leone and Corbucci, but ahead of Donati). It is tremendous! Not as ostentatious perhaps as Corbucci or as beautiful as Leone, but it's a great movie with a good story and a lot of charm. One of my favorite spaghetti westerns

I mean, taken in the same light as the rest of the movie I guess I have to agree with you. The film itself though is just straight garbage fire. There was so much random ADR...just, wtf were they even thinking with the script? Was there a script?

Great, visionary directors don't need scripts.

On the other hand, maybe the script was fine and the reason the movie suffers is the editors were complete shite.

I'm torn.
