I agree, but this trailer got me quite a bit more excited than the last one.
i got the impression that this is before Han became Han -that there is an undercurrent of youthful idealism and excitement that has yet to be snuffed out

I also love that shot in the trailer where Chewie drops that guy on his head. I'm excited he'll be more of a featured character (I assume).

And I've watched the trailer a few more times and while I struggle with the voice and the look (because the actor playing a young han solo is not a young harrison ford) I can see the mannerisms and the attitude filtered through someone who is not yet ground down by life (Woody Harrelson's prophetic warning)

That's probably true. It's obvious that he's going to get fucked over by every person in this movie except Chewie. That line from Harrelson is a big brick in the face. Guess that's how Han became Han.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

They should make all these Pixar movies and not worry about replacing actors or trying to make them young again

Good trailer. Love the cinematography. The movie looks so much different that I expected. Glover is gonna own this thing. Loved the "I've got a good feeling about this," line. Maybe should have been saved for the film and not revealed in the trailer, but I don't really care. Just love it.

Super clear that Han is going to have an actual arc in this movie, which is great. I think Alden's going to be fine. Love the "Wester in space" vibe. That's pretty much exactly what a Han Solo movie should be.

I'm excited. Way more excited than I ever expected to be, really. This has gone from a "I'll see, maybe on a streaming service at some point" all the way to, "I will absolutely see this in the theater."

Oh, and I've only watched the trailer once. I can't wait to watch it a few more times and pick out more of the little details.

It should also be said that he was digitally added into two scenes on this trailer where he was absent before.

Everything other than Han looks/sounds good in these trailers. Not sure what to take from that.

yeah - honestly I think my issue is him looking/sounding different. I can see the attitude and the swagger filtered through someone who hasn't been betrayed yet. Like Joey said, I'm actually starting to think they have something interesting to do with the character in this movie
