Re: The Work-Out Thread
I've slimmed up a little recently. Unfortunately it seems to have come from my legs instead of my belly.

Re: The Work-Out Thread
Current routine basically consists of 100 press ups a day, and during the week 100 dumbell curls, 100 Arnie press, flys and what ever else I can think of doing. During the weekend I dump the weights and go for a 7km hill run

I took a spinning class last night for the first time in a couple years. I didn't die. I know it's one of the best things for you to trim up; I've tried getting into it before but just couldn't.

160s. I'm not a big guy though; I'm started to get a little skinny fat. It's all in my belly.

I think I'm about the same as you - just a few inches taller. We could almost be body twins!tree_ wrote:Damn, I'm at like 212 lbs now... but am 6'1" and probably have more muscle. I'm really not very fat.

You're way more muscular than me and I'm fatter. Your workout regimen is intense. I'm kinda lazy.Rangi Guy wrote:I think I'm about the same as you - just a few inches taller. Re: The Work-Out Thread
I seem to be one of those people who hurts himself no matter what activity he does. Run? Plantar fasciitis. Lift? Insane tennis elbow. Squat? Knee pain. Pull-up? Late strain.
After a conversation with a friend who dropped 50 lbs by eating paleo and kept it off for over 5 years by eating a modified paleo, I’ve decided to try it for the anti-inflammatory benefits. It’s been a week so far. Not noticing great pain lessening, but I never feel bloated, and I’ve lost 3lbs. Stay tuned!

Re: The Work-Out Thread
So i lost my gym membership when i moved/bought a house.
As noted in the running thread, im getting old and muscle mass fades a bit quicker these days. I do plenty of yoga but probably not enough. There are days where im feeling lazy and going on a run is just not going to happen.
I think im going to get a bench and a few more dumbbells to just use in my garage. Those days where a few mile run or yoga doesnt seem like the best idea....I figure i can hop in the garage and go old school. Turn on some tunes and sweat. I dont need many weights as there is so much youc an do just through pushups, curls, squats, some chest press, etc...
I think that is what Ill do.
