Does anyone have any other suggestions for Light Years besides Pinkpop 2000?

It's a universally well-regarded version, with a nice unique ad lib outro, however I don't think I should pick it without at least comparing to some of the better versions from the US 2000 tour...

For more of a dark horse candidate, the version from San Sebastian is pretty good. That show gets overlooked because there are a lot of flubs, but Of The Girl is great. Milan, Italy is a good one too, as is the version from Katowice 2.

What about Sad and Education from the Vic Theater vault show?

Education has a lyrical flub and Sad has nothing on the San Fran 06 version.

Imagine if Sad had been included on Binaural and was a regular on the 2000 tour. I would give my left testicle to hear 2000-era PJ play this song live.

Lexington 2016 has a great energy, if one minor lyric flub (‘flags are waving’).

Columbia 2008 is nice but has switched lyric (in the second line - own ‘occasion’ instead of ‘education’)

Boston 2008 seems to have correct lyrics but doesn’t sound as confident musically, though that might be influenced by the inferior Brett-less mixing (which Columbia also suffers from).

All other versions have major lyric/musical errors unfortunately.

I like the Columbia one, and I don't think I've ever noticed the lyric flub before. But if you are going for perfection, I guess it isn't it. Still, a good version.
