Oh no no no there is sooooo much intensity there. It's just all simmering under the surface, which is how it always works with Mann.

It's great and all but since it's my wife's favorite movie I have seen it five bajillion times and I never want to watch it again

He o got that and it’s all there for sure. But they both seem too aware of each other to really bring their full powers to the scene.

See, I didn't get that titans thing at the time but then I had seen (after checking Wikipedia) three movies from either of them in total.

And now?

Wow. Three movies from Al, seven from Bobby. Almost none of their bigs either. Sheesh.

My first ever job was in a cinema. Bono and the u2 lads and entourage came in for a midnight screening of casino.

It resonated in weird levels. They think they’re a gang and own this town and can do what they want but this town finds them utterly repellant.

Casino is a good film though.

I need to pick a movie or two the wife and I can both enjoy this weekend. We have a gift card for FandangoNow so it can be newer movies just released to DVD. I'm thinking I can definitely go for Phantom Thread but I'm not sure what else. Recommendations?

Good suggestion but we've seen it too many times.
