Is it always best to do missions at night? Seems so

It basically doubles their seeing distance, so I think so. They will adjust to your tactics though, i.e. if you keep doing night missions they'll start wearing night-vision goggles.

So glad you're digging it! Let me know if you need any tips, I'm almost 200 hours in and a little obsessed with it.

Why can't I put a silencer on my sniper rifle? Would make things much easier

Once you can do the side-op "extract the legendary gunsmith", finish those and you can customize weapons in your chopper. You can add whatever level of suppressor you've unlocked to most guns.

And I believe some of the mid-level snipers come with suppressors, just keep upgrading.

This game is so much better than gta5, but so subtle the public are too moronic to realize it

It has, by far, the smoothest mechanics and animations of any game I've ever played, and the game systems all work so beautifully together.

Right and I realize this after the horrendous experience of far cry 5... So polished... Like a Radiohead album

The first 20 hours of MGS V were stellar. Then I got bored. My imagination limits me.

I was just running through a sandstorm on my way to kill the third of three commanders and I got attacked by a bear and pressed triangle to try to repair my wound but it was too late and I died. This game keeps impressing. It's what I wanted far cry 5 to be.

Round 5 with the bear. Apparently tranqs won't do the trick. Really wanted to send him to motherbase. After dying 4 times in close quarters I shot him like 10 times with sniper rifle and that go eem...

Just climb on top of a rock and they can never get to you, it's pretty funny.

Tried Mad Max cause it is currently free. Pretty disappointed. The controls are rough and the sound is terrible... Sometimes muting entirely. The fighting is fun but it's too easy and feels very familiar. Do they just copy fighting mechanics from their other games like the much better Mordor games?
