Watch it again. Then again. Then walk from the window to the wall until it breaks through.

The Master is definitely the best of the ones I've seen. Absolutely beautiful movie.

Yeah
I have it at #2, right behind Magnolia, but it's so close. I'm sure if I watched The Master again I'd switch them.

For a 15 hour movie, I sure have seen it a lot. But it's been a while. I should definitely go back to it soon.

Watched Inherent Vice again the other night and it gets better by leaps and bounds every time I see it. Some really special stuff going on that most directors wouldn’t even attempt let alone pull off. Definitely deserves to be higher up my list but I wouldn’t know how to replace the others.

As far as I’m concerned the dude is 8 for 8.

And makes incredible music videos. The Daydreaming one makes me wanna cry.

When I like a PT Anderson movie, I LOVE a PT Anderson movie. But when I don't... Oh man, do I really not. He's completely hit or miss, for me.

More or less same

Magnolia is an example of a PTA movie I cannot stand

Gotta be in the right mood for magnolia. If I'm in a mood where Aimee Mann sounds really good, I will probably enjoy magnolia.

I really hated it the first time I saw it. Then I saw an interview with him where he said if he had to sum up the film in one sentence it would be, "be nice to your kids."

Something about that made the whole thing click. I watched it again with that in mind and it moved me no end. Or became profound to me.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.
