Yeah... yeah... It's incredibly moving!durdencommatyler wrote:The solo acoustic versions are also really good. I still think the album version is best, though.

I love Slow Disco too, it's my favorite of the Slow Songs in the album and probably one of my favorite St. Vincent songs. That version is good, I haven't listened to the new one.Iholdthepain wrote:Maybe if it was a different song... I guess I have too much emotional investment in SD. It is my favorite song she has written in a LONG time!durdencommatyler wrote:Listening to this now... I think the Slow Disco "remix" is excellent. I don't prefer it to the studio/album track by any means. But I like what they're doing with it I like that version as a sort of up beat, dance remix.
The solo acoustic versions give me chills/make me cry.

It's an amazing song. It's not my favorite on the new album but it's such a powerhouse none the less.

I can't find the Coachella stream anywhere. I've checked the live channels that are still on but they don't go back far enough

I love her singing in this but I don't like the generic guitar strumming and chord structure..chewm wrote:I love Slow Disco too, it's my favorite of the Slow Songs in the album and probably one of my favorite St. Vincent songs. Annie will be a guest in Cannes Lions this year.
Hopefully that means she will play somewhere or at least i might have a chance to talk with her.

Feeling super lucky that St. Vincent is gonna be the opening act for Florence + The Machine in PDX this September. The wife's musical tastes really paying off!
