Does the video provide the same "holy shit, did anybody even watch this thing before airing it?" disaster quality?

Because, if not, then it's just another Sting song and who cares
Possibly, I don't know. But Sting has worked with some of the best drummers in the world, hence my interest. He's written some terrible songs but also some great ones.

Did I just hear Mike say that he came up with the lyric "mind your manners"?
I have a hard time believing that concept wasn't Ed all the way?

Ah, that's more like it. My audio feed was garbage.

Still enjoying this song when I occasionally pop it on. It's a lot of fun. :)

I'm sure I would have had a greater appreciation of this song if it was first heard within an album context. I aim to avoid this track until LB drops.

I feel like it's the right time to do this as well.

This song sounds good when it comes on the radio...It sticks out and pretty much makes everything else sound wimpy in comparison.

I like that song a lot too. Sting has his minuses but his melodies aren't among them.

"Mind Your Manners" however is still bottom-tier Pearl Jam for me.

So I was in a van full of non Pearl Jam fans. Mind your manners came on whatever satellite station the driver had on. I never said a word of who it was. The three in the back all chimed in that the song rocked. All with mainly good taste. When they asked who the band was and i told them one guy just said "hmm". So then nothing. Until all three got us to replay it. They loved it. I don't push my PJ on my friends so haven't really made them sick of the band but definitely the first time I've detected interest. Anyhow, the long and short of it wAs it was well received.

I was in a van and Future Days came on the radio. By the time the song was over everyone was naked, crying, and circle jerking.

The worst part is, I still can't tell if that meant everyone loved it or hated it.

Oddly enough this happens anytime I am in a van.
