go for it, im surprised it didnt already have one, i tried to find it to merge this into it.
no one ever volunteered to write this one up, and I really don't care for this song and didn't want to write it up just to shit all over it

I love Leatherman because it reminds me of being in a Social Studies class in middle school for some reason. Was stoked to hear it at Wrigley.

And who doesn't want to revisit the halcyon days of middle school social studies?

Also, welcome to the board :)

I like this song. It's not in the top tier, but it's probably in the top half for me. I hope it makes its way on Stray Cats / Lost Dogs 2.

Nothingman is a depressive wimp.
Betterman is a drunken wife-beater.
Leatherman is a badass axe-wielding leather-clad hobo.

So what you're saying is, when it comes to a fight between those three men, Betterman and Nothingman would be dead men, where Leatherman would be man of the hour?

Can we get a poll on this song?

Just listened to the studio version for the first time in years. Love it. Vastly better than anytime they played this live. That playful Jack touch.

Molson Park (Barrie ON) 1998 show is the best live version of this song.

a great song; makes me wish they were still utilizing folk music in their sound like they have in the past
