I like the Carrie and Lowell one because it bends without breaking the rules of the topic. It's a tricky technicality. The other one is fine though, no? Isn't Harvard also a little town?

Is Carrie and Lowell referencing the actual city of Lowell in Massachusetts?

Harvard is a town in Massachusetts but the songs isn't referencing that town. It's referencing the university in Cambridge.

Oh, I see. Yeah, I think I appreciate the "coloring outside of the lines" nature of those two picks. One could interpret the topic so that those two apply. But technically, no, neither is ABOUT those towns.
