What do you like in a bar playlist?

Except for my new favorite one that has outlawed jam band music (other than allman brothers). They spin records and a lot of the music consists of QOTSA, BRMC, social distortion, and other various dirty rock acts.

The only music that I hate at a bar/restaurant would be country and rap. And I can’t really recall being in a place that was playing that stuff anyways.

One bar I like plays a lot of 70s and 80s post-punk stuff.

Another bar I like plays a lot of jazz. It's a jazz bar.

My friend's bar only plays Argentine rock music and I hate it. A lot of this kind of shit:

Speaking of which.. If I get enough country or other crap, I combat it with jams.. if you go to the grateful dead, off the album without a net, there's like a 40 minute help/slip/tower that's all combined into 1 track

Funny thing is some of the bartenders are deadheads that like it and will let it play thru
