I just really like olives.

A martini bar opened up near the place I lived once and ooooooh boy... things rolled downhill for awhile after that.

Olives in Martinis are acceptable. But, again, only if it's a gin Martini.

Went to the Kings County distillery yesterday. The do a "Martini" with their Moonshine whiskey in their bar/tasting room and it was out of this world.

Potato vodka has flavor though. But it's not great for martinis.

Yeah, there are some decent vodkas that don't distill all the flavor out, for sure. Zamir's vodka is excellent for this very reason. But, in general, I think vodka is a waste. It's a spirit for people who like being drunk but don't want to taste their alcohol. Which is fine. I'm not judging people for that. Just keep that shit out of my Martini.

Also have you ever had a watermelon soaked in vodka on a hot summer day? Tasteless, odorless liquor definitely has a use.

Fair enough. But I'd still rather rather drink gin and just eat a regular watermelon.
