Gloria is my favorite song on the first two (maybe first three) albums. Easy vote, but When Love Comes to Town is a song I appreciate much more these days

Gloria was the first U2 song I’d ever heard back in the early days of MTV. It’s still probably in my top 5 U2 songs. I like the other song quite a bit. But, simple choice for me here.

I saw them perform "When Love..." with BB King. Holy shit. Although I do love Gloria this goes to Love.

I’m not a big fan of U2’s bluesy stuff. My favorite part of When Love Comes to Town is B.B.’s guitar playing. It’s an ok song but nothing I ever pick out. Early 80s U2 isn’t my favorite either. Gloria is a decent song, but I’m just not a big fan of this sound in general. I think I’m gonna have to throw B.B. a courtesy vote.
