This tournament is just a bit of fun. Whatever list wins, doesn't really mean jack shit because certain songs mean different things to people, depending on what mood they're in. These lists are just down to personal tastes, and some kind of loosely fitted "strategy".

Really, for you to come in and call our lists rubbish is just poor form.

BTW, your list is rubbish.

I don't think you can draw many conclusions from what songs people chose for this, particularly given the playlist concept we're running with this time.

Evacuation, for example, is pretty much my favourite Pearl Jam song and I didn't choose it.

That's pretty awesome. What program did you use to make this?

I'll put this together on iTunes and have a listen, but just based on what I'm seeing here I really like the flow of your playlist-- it gets progressively more frantic up to Not For You, at which point it gradually dissipates, culminating with Foldback. Around the Bend and Santa Cruz are like a sweet afterthought.

If nothing else, this exercise is making me want to listen to a bunch of songs I hadn't payed much attention to in a while.

I just threw them together with Audacity, this free and easy on-the-go software.

You're forgetting that the 'underground' think the band sucks live, currently.

Good work, man . Were we meant to all do this as part of the tournament?

Excellent. I'm gonna take a stab at that. I've got two versions of my playlist (same order) that I've been listening to tonight, one all studio and one all live. Might be cool to arrange the live one like this.

Agreed.

Also, as far as this draft goes, the whole point was to draft songs and make a playlist out of them. As the ranks of songs became thin, you really had to consider what fit/flows with what you had picked etc. This 'Cready Stomper' picked it mainly for flow purposes not to be the "underground pearl jam" assholes you accuse of being.

Again, its just something for fun, no need to shit all over it.

Thanks man. The emotive progression was exactly my main aim for it, and I'm glad it's come across that way. :nice:
