Evacuation was the song I referenced earlier that I wanted but didn't think it fit. I actually really like the bridge in that song.


I was hoping someone would pick Ed's song from PJ20. That would've guaranteed a victory.

good lord. Ok, sure, i understand the "in the moment" bullshit about it but good lord. This is maybe what is wrong with PJ these days. This is absolutely horrible. yet people cheer because "oh hey its a new song and its eddie and heres a cheesy one liner!" and he is so blinded by it he feels he can get away with it.

Just brutal. Rather have had Bee Girl....

I don't have lyrics (so I could only listen to eddie's voice and the melody--as could everyone who was there), but that sounded nice enough listening to it while I was waiting for my dog to come in this morning. It lacks the raw savagery,buckets of angst, and artistic power of bee girl, but we can probably dial ourselves back from the ledge a bit.

Go listen to some of the ridiculous improvs he used to do in 91-93 that I salivated over then and am now a little embarrassed by. Ripping this apart is like being mad at bee girl for not being indifference.

For a quick little song to commemorate a special occasion it is fine. And at a song celebrating your 20th anniversary I kinda like the like line"so glad we made it until it all got good"

"Evacuation" is one of those songs I'd have picked for myself really early on, but would have been wary of using it in a tournament for fear of its reputation.

I'm going to run into that problem a lot in the next one.

Not sure if its any better than mixcloud, but soundcloud is free and I noticed a big jump from my first hosting choice.
