Listen to the album After The Gold Rush. You're not allowed to have an opinion on Neil Young without at the very least having heard that album.

PROVE ME WRONG", but I'm just being honest about my experience with the Neil Young stuff I had been exposed to-- which I have now learned is not a good representation of his best work. I'm halfway through On the Beach and really liking it. I'll listen to Zuma next.

i'd just make my way chronologically from Everybody Knows through Rust, but if you're cherry picking, On The Beach is as good as any album to start with. although i'd move to Tonight's the Night after it
