Now .421. There's a good chance he would be an elite hitter in the majors right now. Compared to other teenagers, he's putting up better numbers than... well... pretty much everyone ever.philpritchard wrote:Because things are miserable for the Jays right now...
Guerrero is the youngest hitter in AA and is currently hitting .414.

I'm assuming the Jays, aside from not wanting to rush him etc, don't want to start his service clock already?philpritchard wrote:Now .421. Pretty much. It would be hard to justify keeping him down a couple weeks next year to get the extra year, though, so they might as well just call him up now and see what he can do.MattA75 wrote:I'm assuming the Jays, aside from not wanting to rush him etc, don't want to start his service clock already?philpritchard wrote:Now .421. As hard as it was for the Cubs to do it to Bryant 3 or 4 years ago?philpritchard wrote:Pretty much. Bryant at least had a strikeout issue at the time that they could say they wanted him to work on.MattA75 wrote:As hard as it was for the Cubs to do it to Bryant 3 or 4 years ago?philpritchard wrote:Pretty much. 2-0, 6 saves, 8 hits, 1.23 ERA, .58 WHiP, 9 walks, and 58 Strikeouts! in 29.1 innings pitched so far for Josh Hader, and hes not even the closer or the hottest pitcher in the Brewers bullpen.
Jeremy Jeffress has a .35 ERA in 25 innings, and is working on a pretty good scoreless innings streak.
Matt Albers 1.17 ERA in 23 innings
and now they have Knebel back in the mix after being injured.
I had the Blue Jays game on yesterday and they were even talking about Milwaukee's best record and lights out bullpen.

Brewers vs Mariners / Twins, id go for either.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:can’t wait for the mariners/brewers world series
Brewers / Mariners could both wear throw back Pilots jerseys. The captains bars on the hat is such an unneeded touch.
