Ahhhhhh I'm so hyped for the Denver show! Listening to "Here at the Western World" right now. God these guys are the best band ever. No question.

Great show, of course. Everyone in the band was so dialed in. The highlight for me was “Aja”, which is such a fucking sublime composition, and hearing it live was incredible. It definitely made me wish they leaned into some deeper cuts and more downbeat songs instead of the more upbeat (well, musically) tracks like “Black Friday” and “My Old School”, which almost felt like party anthems due to how they were performed and the reaction from the crowd. Was great to hear “Godwhacker”; I would have loved more EMG songs. Could have done without the Danettes-sung “Dirty Work”; I don’t even like that song much when Palmer sings it.

Oh, and holy FUCK did they RIP through “Bodhisattva”! Jesus. I couldn’t believe it. They played it WAY faster than on the album. The musicianship was unreal.
