i knew it was gonna be real tough when i saw who i was up against, his team is really good, but so is everyones, i still havent been able to make my votes, i know who i would pick in each with out the playlist, but im gonna listen to them all tonight and make my final decision.

All the matchups were extremely difficult to gauge. The playlist aspect certainly made it even more difficult. We have some very talented people on this board.
However BiH Vs DVN was THE most difficult for me. Both playlists were executed wonderfully. BiH ended up two of my top 10, and that heavily influenced my vote...

Does anyone think in retrospect they reached way too much for a song, or took a song way too much for granted and saw it go far earlier than they expected?

Immortality was kind of limiting. Although I was happy to have it, it is such a big song that I feared it would dominate my playlist. That's why I went for fewer big songs until pick 6or7 when I finally opted for Jeremy (more out of fear that people would vote on songs instead of playlist). However I'm really happy with my 6-10 run on my playlist. It works for me in a cinematic way.

Also, I have a greater appreciation for a couple of tracks now. Thin Air was always meh but now I believe that it suffers following NAIS. Not many tracks can follow NAIS and Thin Air is a bit weak on the album. But I really enjoy it this week.
