Re: The Cinematic Motion Picture News Thread
I went ahead and watched the trailer (not here but on IMDB as to not offend trag) and I think the tone of that movie looks WAY off from the book. However, the cast is great. I'll check it out. But I'll pretend it isn't based on anything.

Re: The Cinematic Motion Picture News Thread
I saw that on reddit earlier and thought, "they made a movie?" I recall some conversation about it a few months ago so I guess - since I read the book - I should check out the trailer. I assume there are changes, and I wonder what the ending is going to be.tragabigzanda wrote:Hey look at this, Lenny:

I feel like Gyllenhaal should have been Charlie, Joaquin should have been Eli and Reilly should have been Morris. At least from a book perspective. Looks like they are pushing the movie as more of a comedy so maybe the casting makes sense.

I finally watched the trailer and yeah I don't know about the casting. I'm going to have to watch the movie to get this one figured out.bada wrote:I feel like Gyllenhaal should have been Charlie, Joaquin should have been Eli and Reilly should have been Morris.
