A good example where the thread title actually happened is Goo Goo Dolls. Haha their stupid-looking bassist/original singer was sidelined by the pretty boy with the pop melodies. What a dumb loser

oh no, not even close.

but i think that's why i appreciate a lot of their solo work. you get a glimpse into what and how each member contributes. Radiohead's solo projects always felt like 1/5th of Radiohead to me.

Two of my favorite songs by The Silt are sung by Marcus Quin, and those are the only two that he takes lead vocals on. I like Ryan and Doug as vocalists, but it would have been nice to have Marcus lead a little more often.
