Re: General Pearl Jam Bitching
Was sitting around a campfire Saturday and my friend had his iphone playing internet radio. MYM came on and was greeted with a general "what the hell is this? change it" from the people there. Its not like anyone was really paying that close of attention to the music either.......
I kept quiet. I still think the song is okay for the record.

I'm not listening to it regularly right now (waiting for the record) but I have it on a few playlists and every time it comes on I really like it.. Probably not campfire music though

Switched from love it to like it. I think it's a more accurate vote.

My comment had nothing to do with the quality of the song. It's a very solid 4 star song. At this point I want to hear it with the album, rather than as a stand alone for the 100th time in a month

My Wrigley ordeal - HELP!!! (not a complaint)
Postby soultune0330 » Mon Aug 05, 2013 6:20 pm
Ok, so I have hesitated on posting this, but the time has come. I can't pull out of my PJ related depression and need your help. Here is my story from Wrigley:
During the rain delay (@about 11:30 which makes it even more excruciating) we got a call from our babysitter that one of our little boys was having a tough time and was coughing really bad as in go to urgent care bad. Long story short we ended up having to leave at that time and missed the remainder of the show. We had to drive back to WI, so that was also a factor in what had to happen. I know we did the right thing but it is killing me that we had to leave so close to when they went back on. I am seriously feeling depressed about this one. Those seven songs were amazing and pretty much brought tears to my eyes they were so good. We were even in the front row!!! I just don't know how to get over this except to get to a show again but finances are an issue and I can't buy them at the stub hub prices. Ugh! I have obviously learned that you have someone from your family babysit (grandparents, etc) and get a hotel no matter the cost. In any event, if you have recommendations for healing, I will gladly take them. I am not in a good place (still!). I thought that it would get better over time but that has not been the case. Still I know we did the right thing. Life with little guys I guess. Still... HELP! I've been a member forever and am diehard - don't have a problem going to a show with someone I don't know. I just would have to make sure I could find a flight and whatnot and it would work with my work schedule. Go ahead and pm me or just let me know your ideas on how I can pull out of this!

it's people like this that make me embarrassed to say "Pearl Jam" when someone asks me who my favorite bands are.
