Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

The best movies about dreams are the Nightmare On Elm Street series. Its such an incredible and imaginative franchise. The documentary about all the movies is so fucking good.

I find Elm St to be a mediocre franchise. Freddy’s Dead is the only one I really like.

3-6 all blend together in my head. New Nightmare is a cool idea that doesn’t work for me in execution.

They got really talented guy to helm the sequels...Renny Harlin, Stephen Hopkins, Chuck Russell....the set, the dream sequences and Freddy itself are amazing.

Ill watch them all again after i finish with the Hellraiser series.

I’ve never been a big fan of Lynch, no. I vividly remember that scene of Laura Dern describing a dream in Blue Velvet to be one of the most laughably bad things I’ve ever seen.

It’s been a while since I’ve seen that movie. I’m going to watch it soon with that post in mind. It never stood out as being bad to me, let alone laughably bad.

I was actually thinking of the dumpster scene in Mulholland Drive more than anything else Lynch related. Something about the reveal at the end gets me every time.

I was a huge Lynch fan as a kid. Im still a big fan, i mean Twin Peaks might be my favorite thing in tv from last year.

He managed to terrified me and at the same time feel weird with every movie i saw.
