I was going to mention this, but yeah, it was very dark, especially in the first half. I had a hard time seeing what was happening. I didn't know if it was the movie or if I'm just going blind.
Christ, I did mention this in my line opening night post. I’m a fucking force ghost in this shitty forum.

The Star Wars twitter account sent out a tweet saying Solo was the number one film in America then deleted the tweet. Odd.

I’m taking comfort from the box office return.

Now I KNOW they’ll make Obi wan to get it all back on track

How do you figure?

Obi Wan is nowhere near as popular a character as Han

While you’re right in one way you’re probably unaware of the constant complaint that nobody wanted this movie. From a lot of quarters.
Ewan McGregor.
Every single Star Wars fan I know wants the Kenobi movie and it’s been often discussed why it wasn’t made first.

It would / will probably make as much as any of the new saga films. But I’m not operating in a bubble. The entire fandom is waiting for Obi wan.

I just don't see how a Kenobi movie would be very compelling. Isn't the only usable time period the one where he's in hiding? Cool, Ewan McGregor in a fake beard sitting in a cave talking to dead Jedi for two hours!

It could be a really great movie, but definitely won't have a wide appeal on the same level as the main saga.
