They've said the name Willow a handful of times and 9/10 of those were in said first chapter. Sorsha gives him another name and that's what he goes by for the rest of the series. It's like they went out of their way to distance themselves from the movie.
Also it's written by Chris Claremont and it definitely reads like a comic book event series. You know, where there's a big-bad that is omnipotent until our plucky team can find a way to find the one weakness and then take them down in the last chapter.

I like the idea of a sequel to Willow where he’s the secondary character and Elora is grown up and a princess. He’d sort of be like Rocky in the Creed movie. And Ron Howard could cast his daughter in the role of Elora. I wonder if she’d wear heels with devil dogs on her ass.

I just finished the series. It basically ended how I thought it would, though there were a few surprises. It could have been a really good book instead of three long ones but what fantasy series isn't a trilogy by default nowadays?

I do not. I did watch Life is Too Short starring Warwick Davis, though. I love Tyrion Lannister. I don’t know, Ruddo. I guess the fascination began with the Oompa Loompas in WWCF. They just make me happy. There isn’t anything malicious, and I’m not sexually attracted to them or anything, but have you ever seen Hornswaggle wrestle? Oh my God, it’s the best thing ever!E.H. I don’t gush. I exude enthusiasm
I’m going to see it with my pal today or tomorrow. It’s got that rewatchability the ot has. Just so much fun.all my pals bringing their kids are saying their little ones are absolutely in love with it but the intro scene to chewie is kinda scary for them but then they’re all cheering when they realise it him
I wish I had kids

Yep. I'm listening to it now. These guys totally get it. I know they tend to lean positive and people think they're disingenuous but I agree with 99% of their takes on things. And they're all so smart and thoughtful about it.dimejinky99 wrote:Joseph did you hear this weeks Force Center? They pretty much nailed the Solo situation.

WHICH one?????
Yeah I like their takes. Can be critical without being negative. They’re almost alone out there in that regard.

Listening to the score and there’s heaps of crossover / themes from the OT but oddly one track called the good guy, has kylos theme in it for a little bit. Soooo cool
