Re: Gorillaz
YEAH I KNOW THEY ARE. But they look as human as they do simian, and Murdoc some kind of demonic green-skinned human, and there are actual non-talking monkeys in their world (as seen on several music videos), and Russell is supposed to be a hoodlum from the Bronx and Noodle is supposed to be a little Japanese girl. There is no mention of them being monkeys in their backstory. I'm actually leaning towards the vaguely simian features being a quirky design choice and not part of the conceit.Dev wrote:THEY ARE CALLED GORILLAZ DIPSHIT.theplatypus wrote:No you imbecile. 2D, Noodle and Russel all look vaguely simian. Re: Gorillaz
I'm not sure where I sit with this one so far. It's like Daft Punk meets Gorillaz almost. Not what I was expecting and some of it's actually good. Some of it though...maybe I just want another Clint Eastwood or Feel Good, Inc.

Re: Gorillaz
Their new album was fucking terrible. I remember listening to it and when I saw it was finally up to track 18, I was relieved that the next one was only 9 seconds long. And then Hallelujah Money was up next, and that's when I realized I listened to an entire album with no good songs on it.

Re: Gorillaz
I heard a new track of their's the other day and it caught my attention. If I recall I thought it was a bit different for them, but good.
