Re: Mobile Photography
Both my sister and brother were known as Clarkey at some point in their lives. Me, I never had that nickname.zeb wrote:Thanks Clarkey!cutuphalfdead wrote:Yeah that one is fantastic.

Re: Mobile Photography
Have you guys noticed how people really gravitate towards a sort of division in their scenic images at either 1/3 up from the bottom, or ocassionally 1/2 way? It might be a horizon mark, a focal point, or just a defining image in the shot, but that area seems to very naturally draw emphasis from people.
I do this a lot, which is where I first caught a trend, but I see it in a lot of these images too.
I'm not noting it as some kind of weakness or problem, mind you, but rather as a trending behavior. Also, because I've been enjoying challenging myself to avoid it lately....to see if I can create images I feel are powerful or aesthetically engaging without that key horizontal division. I really suck at this anyway, especially compared to the stuff in this thread, but I'm fascinated by the effort.

In spite of what I was typing while you posted it, this really "does it" for me.turned2black wrote:
