Listened to Pop on my way to work...is there a grooviest sexiest album in their career? Clayton´s grooves are top notch here.

wouldn’t have picked that as a winner but good choice I guess. Great song.

I would've been completely satisfied and unsurprised if it had won it all.PHATJ wrote:Some people like to hate on Streets, but im not one.

I actually have something in mind. Pearl Jam perfomed No Code live a few years ago in Moline, IL. People were going nuts about it at the time, but I never bothered to seek it out. A few months ago I finally did pull up the show on YouTube. I was surprised at how good the performance was. The band is on fire. Ed actually sounds great. It’s the kind of performance that would’ve taken place 15 years ago, not 3 (or whatever). It has my favorite live version of In My Tree, and several other songs would rank right near the top too. So anyway, we should watch that.macphisto wrote:What are we going to listen to tonight, J?

I'll say it again, Do You Feel Loved is fucking epic and deserves to be way higher up in U2 lore/esteem.VinylGuy wrote:Guys, just put Pop and enjoy.

I was there!! It ruled. Especially b/c it was a smaller arena in a place they never play. Had a special energy to it, for sure.PHATJ wrote:I actually have something in mind. I remember figuring out they were doing No Code by the time the opening drums for In My Tree kicked in. Some spine-tingling shit.
