I don’t pay much attention to IBUs anymore. I did a lot when I first got heavily into IPAs maybe 10 years ago. I used to seek out the highest IBU possible. Eventually I realized higher IBUs didn’t necessarily mean that I liked the beer any better. So I don’t even usually look anymore.

Barrio is now doing $4 breakfast (giant pancake, bacon, eggs and fruit), $4 cocktails and $4 pints from 7 to noon on Saturdays and Sundays.

This place is making me an alcoholic.

Finally went to a local brewery that opened a couple of months ago. Not great. Had a flight of all their stuff. Everything was overly "malty" and sweet.

It was made kinda worse by the fact that they clearly wanted to establish themselves as the "conservative" brewery. NRA shit (like literally NRA promotional posters) on the walls. One of their beers was like Bearing Arms Porter or something stupid and all their shirts had flags on both arms. Predictably, they also had FOX News on most of their TVs. Our waitress had an AR15 tattooed on her forearm.



Luckily they had Modern Times Fruitlands, which has become one of my favorite sours.

Holy shit balls, doone. That’s a hell of a lineup. I need to check my calendar and see if I can go to that.

As far as the list goes, I’ve sampled beers from a large portion of those breweries, so I can’t comment on all of them. I will say that these are some of the absolute best from that group. Let me know if you have questions about a specific brewery and I’ll answer that directly.

Just dropped $100 at Tree House for 25 beers. Kinda ridiculous, but every single beer I've tried from them has been at least really good.
Ended up with Julius, Sap, Super Sap, Doppelganger, Lights Out, and Tornado.
