He also co-wrote it I believe
Thats right. I forgot about that. I dont see how his humor doesnt filter into this movie. Could make it a very fun film or it could fall completely flat.
He claims there’s no humor
Well..paint my ass yellow and call me curious!

Steve Albini wrote:Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I loved loved loved the cinematography. The framing in the jail scene is a beauty.

So, this new one is a sequel to the original and disregards everything since the original 1978 film?

Seems like it. They are even ignoring the idea of Michael being Laurie Strode´s brother.

Im a fan of pretty much all of them, except part 8. That one is trash.

But im a bigger fan of this new idea of coming right after the first one.

Very excited for Suspiria, Halloween, and The House That Jack Built. All look potentially great. Especially Suspiria.

A comic book superhero coming back from the dead is certainly unprecedented. They keep breaking barriers with this Wonder Woman.
