I thought I accidentally clicked on the Deadwood thread when I first read this....

Same. Similar to Breaking Bad for me--"Wow, this is so good," but I never really got invested.

Obviously, I can't speak to Deadwood but Breaking Bad was amazing. I think if you stick with it, you'll end up loving it.

I got through way more of Breaking Bad--3 total seasons. Then I think I got busy and forgot to download the rest, and when one day I suddenly thought, "Huh, I guess I never finished it." I never really had a desire to seek out the rest of it.

I have another question from my second run through the series here. Just finished season 4.

Why didn’t Jaime act as Tyrion’s champion in his combat trial. Like Cersei/Tywin would have actually let their person (Mountain or anyone else) kill Jaime??

He would have had to go through with it, and he would probably have lost because of his injury. He was also a Kingsguard, and in love with Cersei.

What I’m saying is that the match would have been forfeited (or thrown). No way Tywin lets someone go out there and kill Jaime.

It probably wouldn’t, would have been a massive risk to take.

Also, Tywin didn't want Tyrion to be found innocent, he wanted him sent to the wall.
