If Leia had managed to get to Obi wan to bring him back to Alderaan, Ben picks up Luke before they leave, you could see Bail and Him saying it’s time and sitting the two of them down and explaining who their parents were who their father is and taking her off to train with Yoda and he could still be a rebel pilot like he always wanted to be.

The OT would be a totally different but still brilliant. Loads of potential.

This could be the eventual reboot. Make Leia the hero.

Then they all would’ve died when Alderaan was destroyed.

But they knew where she was going. Tarkin would’ve still used Alderaan as target practice if for no other reason, to kill Leia, which he knew, at the very least, was a Rebel sympathizer.

They would have gotten away and gotten the plans to the rebellion before the empire arrived. *then* blow up Alderaan and it gives the rebellion an even bigger motivation to go fuck the Death Star up.

The whole of twitter or a small corner of SW fandom that makes it look like everyone on twitter is talking about it? Looking at twitter trends, SW isn't in the top twenty
