I really wish I could get into this show but I just can’t. It’s like The Office except not funny or appealing

Have you never seen it?
Correct. First time through. Five episodes in to S1.
Oh man. Enjoy. It is definitely a slow burn, but there's so much to chew on.
If this is a slow burn, then I'm not gonna be able to take it! Shit is already a bonfire!
It slows down and becomes a little TVy in the middle seasons, but still sizzles and simmers slightly below the surface.
That makes sense. I can't imagine sustaining this level of tension for the entire run. It's Breaking Bad level right now.
I've seen the first two seasons, and I fully feel the slow burn. It's always good, but feels like it moves in snail pace. I watch a few episodes every couple of months, and it's never a problem being away or coming back into it. Good actors.

The process and the slow burn is sort of the point of the show. I agree with you about taking long gaps between seasons. It's pretty easy to catch up.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I like all the actors in the show but it does nothing for me.

Has anyone else noticed that besides cancelling her new show, Roseanne is no longer in syndication either?

CMT replaced her with Home Improvement.

Paramount replaced her with Two And A Half Men. They even have a new commerical bragging their "new lineup".

Ouch!

Lol, 10 minuets after posting this the episode on adult swim is about Baba O’Riley and The Who, and PJ and Jeremy are also mentioned. Ironic.
