Re: MLB
Red Schoendienst died at the age of 95..he was a player and manager for the cardinals. I went to a game in 1974 with my dad and Tim McCarver hit my dad with a line drive during batting practice against the braves. Red was the first person to come into the stands and ask if he was ok..he was but a bit shaken..the whole team came up and signed a few balls for us..we had dinner with stan musial that night at his restaurant called biggies

I seem to recall Marquis Grissom missing time with a "pulled buttock muscle" while with Milwaukee. Ya cant help but giggle while reading that one.PHATJ wrote:Finger blaster is my new favorite injury of all time.Balki wrote:PHATJ wrote:Finger blaster?....blister, folks
The Brewers bullpen is good, really good, and they have way to much fun.

I hope you all have seen the Joy that is Ozzie Albies.
The guy is a pleasure to watch. He’s scuffleing right now but he hit a grand slam last night and has been one of the best national league players in the 1st half.

Yeah, that was pretty hilarious. Especially since he straight up said he was going to do that at some point when he “didn’t retire so he could play in Japan next season”.E.H. Ruddock wrote:Ichiro on the Mariners bench with the fake mustache was awesome

I hope they talk him into the HRDerby. He deserves a proper send off at the all-star game anyway.PHATJ wrote:Yeah, that was pretty hilarious.
