I read a description of U2’s War as “militant pacifism” the other day, which I really liked. It also drew me to conclude that early Pearl Jam is militant empathy.

i was in a bad mood a minute ago, and i put it on Future Days and started laughing to myself. cheered right up. i think i found the only thing Future Days is good for!
