it says 2011 on the video but both tracks are on their debut which just came out

i'm really enjoying the new Mouth of the Architect. easily one of the best post-metal releases i've heard this year.

Nice--I'll check that out! Have they been on hiatus for a while or something? I saw them open for Mastodon back on the Blood Mountain tour, but I was thinking they'd broken up not long after that.

i'm not sure. i'm only familiar with Time and Withering from 2004. but i saw this one pop up in my news feed recently and gave it a chance. glad i did.

anybody listened to Deafheaven's Sunbather yet? it's pretty good. i like the black metal meets post-rock approach.

The drumming on Sunbather is ridiculous. I don't like the vocals at all, though.
