You’ve inadvertently described all of this though. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with fair criticism. There is everything wrong with negativity. Especially poorly informed / badly researched negativity pretending to be criticism.

Pretty much every single one of this type of article about the last Jedi falls into this bracket.

I got hung up on the bombs falling in space thing and just looked up a valid reason: There's gravity on the bomber. We saw a person fall and a remote control fall. That's really all you need to get the bombs to fall out the bottom and then keep falling.

That's good enough for me and now I feel better about it.

Ah cool. Also They’re targeted magna bombs. And we see bombs falling in space in empire strikes back too. Not a big deal.
