Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I way over romanticized karate kid 2. I like where they took the story, and that Peter Cetera song Glory of Love is still incredible, but it’s nowhere near as good as the original. It also has what must be considered one of the dumbest lines of dialogue ever:

Daniel: You could have kill him, couldn’t you?
Miyagi: Aye
Daniel: So why didn’t you?

So why didn’t you? Why didn’t you just kill a man in the parking lot after a karate tournament?

Mind blown: Macchio is older than Thomas Ian Griffith, who played Terry Silver in the movie!

This movie has sooo many plot holes, but it was more enjoyable than I remembered. My kids both liked it more than part 2.
