I'm glad someone said it.
Hey, I tried to bring it back on topic.

Jorge, I know you're being bombarded with recommendations, but tuck "Sleeps With Angels" in the back of your mind for later. It's one of Neil's most creative records, full of mystery, nuance, and color--I would recommend it to someone unsold on Neil's more familiar works the same way I would recommend "No Code" to someone unsold on Pearl Jam's. (In many ways, actually, especially knowing what kind of influence Neil wields over Pearl Jam, it wouldn't be at all unreasonable to see "Sleeps With Angels" as a direct formal precedent to "No Code".) In fact, in Eddie's Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame induction speech for Neil, when he said, "you know, some of the guy's best songs are on his last record," this would have been the record he was referring to. I don't want to jump the line--some other recommendations in this thread have been really great--but I'm going to sendspace this to you now, as I can't find the full album on YouTube.

"Prime of Life" is just a wonderful track. So many artists from various alternative rock mediums have cited Neil as an influence, and this is one of those songs where you can really hear him drawing reciprocally from them.

One of my favs. You can definitely see how this was a precursor to writing Cinnamon Girl. I liked the live versions he did of this with Crazy Horse where the song took on a bit more life.

I know it's kind of a cliched discussion topic, but what's everyone's favorite Neil album? Personally, I've always thought On the Beach was his masterpiece, but I probably listen to Rust Never Sleeps the most.

Poncho broke his hand. Seems like the US tour should be OK. Man I knew I should have gone to one of the first round of UK shows.

Don't really like this part:
According to industry reports, Pono files will automatically ‘scale’ depending on what audio device they’re playing on. So while a download from the dedicated download store will play on other devices aside from the dedicated Pono player, they’ll be at a lower quality. So if users want to play a Pono file properly – ie. at the top-notch sonic fidelity – they need to purchase the dedicated Pono player.

My all-time favorite Neil song.
My wife and and iare selling everything and moving to Colorado. (We are public school teachers in North Carolina.)

This song has hit me hard. I've never given Rust Never Sleeps many spins. Thank you guys for the heads up.
