I am so sorry to everyone! I have read here for the longest and am becoming part of here now because we are underway and between work I have most time to enjoy other Pearl Jam and Eddie fans!
We take small ship cruising in a different direction!

We've all seen what AIC became with the Layne replacement... this band is not viable with a replacement Ed. No way.
Stop playing back-to-backs, stop smoking, stop drinking to oblivion after every show... plan 2 shows per week max... retire some songs... take more time between songs. Surely, he is reaching out to Bruce and Bono at this point, trying to figure out how to keep this train rolling. He'll be fine.

good point. this approach is at least a couple albums overduetragabigzanda wrote:Obviously I'd be upset if this turned out to be a more serious vocal thing. But the potential upside is that he might start to reel it in and try to write some songs that are more comfortably within his range now. Like how he originally did songs like Off He Goes, Of the Girl, and Driftin', before he got all breathy? It would be great if he did a whole record like that.
