Backspacer is their best album since Yield. It’s brave it’s different and shows a band capable of throwing a welcome curve ball late into their career.
Pound for pound song for song though, a more cohesive engaging and worthwhile record, pearl jam hasn’t made since maybe Ten.
Amongst the waves wipes it shitty diaper all over it and ruins it from being perfection. But it’s almost there. 9.9
