We forgot about "Broken" by Seether. It was huge and had Amy Lee in it!

Has anyone mentioned the band Dope? These guys covered "Fuck tha Police" and changed the lyrics to "Fuck tha police comin' straight from the underground / A mother fucker got it bad cause I'm loud"

I am voting 100% based on which song I like moreSimple Torture wrote:I am looking forward to it.Kevin Davis wrote:Me being a huge nerd has grown so unsurprising that my only avenue for keeping things fresh is doing so in unexpected places. Are people going to be voting based on what they think the better song is, or on which of the songs best embodies the era, or on what the worse of the two songs is? I think my criteria is going to be a mix between the second and third options.

There was a band called Injected that I thought had a chance to turn into a pretty good band but they fell apart after their first album though much of their second album demos did leak online. I think my favorite thing about them was he didn't sing like Eddie or Layne. They had a couple songs you guys might remember.

It's going to be hilarious (or something) when a song like Drive by Incubus wins the Nu-Metal tournament.

As I'm gathering all the YouTube videos for the threads, one motif I am noticing popping up again and again in, like, 80% of these music videos is "hot" women staring at the lead singer, who is sad/disinterested. It's really hilarious, and everyone should keep an eye out for it as we go through these rounds.

I've changed my mind on A Perfect Circle. They should be in this thing.

Come to think of it, there is probably a significant overlap between that stuff and the nu-metal fanbase
