I wish I had predicted on page 1 that KD was going to come into this thread and be a huge nerd about it.

Me being a huge nerd has grown so unsurprising that my only avenue for keeping things fresh is doing so in unexpected places. This music was never my cup of tea but I am going to play along with this. Expect to read more words on nu-metal than you ever imagined possible.

I am looking forward to it.

Are people going to be voting based on what they think the better song is, or on which of the songs best embodies the era, or on what the worse of the two songs is? I think my criteria is going to be a mix between the second and third options.

There was a band called Injected that I thought had a chance to turn into a pretty good band but they fell apart after their first album though much of their second album demos did leak online. I think my favorite thing about them was he didn't sing like Eddie or Layne. They had a couple songs you guys might remember.
