Easy to carry and the pocket is big enough for a phone and 4-5 gels.
Yeah that's the one I was looking at but a lot of the reviews complained about a rubber taste.
youre not used to it?

Purchased. I'm going to put Melon Powerade in it.

Can Jim Walmsley actually control his pace and NOT blowup?

Can Courtney Dauwalter continue her streak against real competition?

The answer to both these questions was "Hell yes!"

Stoked for PHX-native Walmsley to get the win and CR.

Got a feeling this will be the start of some true dominance by him. Like to see him win UTMB now.

11.9 km in 66 min.

The high from running 11.9 is on another level compared to my old 6.4

He did before he started winning stuff. Now he's part of Hoka's Northern Arizona Elite team.

Adidas doesn't sponsor ultra runners.

Hokas are the CrossFit of running shoes.

Hokas are really ultra/mountain running shoes. I have a pair that I wear occasionally.

The guy who started it worked as a shoe designer for Salomon, a brand known for their innovations. There's no doubt they are well-built shoes with tons of engineering in them.

I just don't like their maximalist approach.

I'd say they have about a third of the ultra shoe market at this point. Call an ultra runner a CrossFitter and you'll get punched in the face.

Although getting punched by an ultra runner is a lot like getting hit by an 8-year-old.

I bet Courtney D. could knock me TF out.

How long after a marathon do I have to stop blaming my insatiable appetite on post-race hunger and just admit that I've let my diet go to shit again?

Man, after months of nothing, I finally committed - 25 miles two weeks ago, 30 last week - and now I’ve got this kidney stone issue followed by vacation. It will be 3 weeks before I run again.
