Obviously I’m not a Nu metal fan, but I at least somewhat understand what people see in Korn. And from afar they seem like the heavyweights of the genre. Limp Bizkit is just so fucking dumb.

The guitar during the "BEATING ME DOWN" part is so heavy and cool.

Hahaha I just hit play on "Rollin'". Immediate lol. "AWRITE PARTNER..." "Chocolate starfish!!!"

Korn, but it's really more of a vote against Limp Bizkit

I’ll vote for LB. They were super dumb, but I had a lot of fun with their music for a couple years. I never had fun with Korn.

It’s actually a fun anthem when you get past the RIDICULOUSNESS that is Fred Durst.

but

FAFM is a demon of a song. How do they make that static noise that syncopates with the beat? Davis might be the one singer from this tournament whose talent and originality transcend musical genres and eras.

I have no doubt Korn is the better band. They have some legitimacy as artists. I don’t care for any of their songs. But, LB kinda defines the real meathead segment of this putrid era. They get my vote. At least they made me laugh.

It truly is a transcendental piece of art, both the song and the video.

I like the eerie-sad guitar during the verses of "Falling Away From Me." I like nothing about "Rollin' (Air Raid Vehicle)."

Falling away from me is one of the better Korn songs

Rollin is by far the weaker of the 2 undertaker themes in this

Once again, Korn by at least three hundred hectares. "Falling Away from Me" is still awesome to this day.

Too bad Limp Bizkit didn't film the music video for "Rollin" on the morning of 9/11/2001.

I hung out with Wes Borland once, his band Kween Kong was opening for Failure's reunion tour and my friend came just to see him and the Marilyn Manson ex-member in that band. After the show, my buddy tells me to come meet him down an alley behind the venue and he's just hanging out with Wes Borland. Nice dude, his new band is almost as bad as Limp Bizkit though. Failure brought the fucking house down that night.

You have to hand it to Korn for being pioneers in this style, and they managed to do some interesting things with textures in a lot of their earlier material. Easy win for them over another awful Limp Bizkit song.

How do you mention this but not the fact that the video opens with Ben Stiller listening to a different Limp Bizkit song on the radio? Fucking layers to this shit, man.
